Take Action.
That’s the YouTube feed that came to my awareness early this morning.
I’ve been grappling with this notion for years now.
I thought I was busy. I was never bored, could always find something to keep me active, never ran out of books to read, and endless things to study, processing for healing, journaling, analyzing, planning… the list goes on and on…
Just this last year, I finally got that being busy mentally, physically and emotionally is not the same action.
And if you don’t take action, you don’t accomplish anything.
Such simple truth.
Don’t get me wrong. I have accomplished things. But I have accomplished things that are easy for me. And in ways that matter to me personally, I hadn’t accomplished things I had planned for decades.

I can show them a different possibility, a life that is not so empty, lonely, scary, depressing, anxiety ridden.
Yet I had not shared, or taught, or helped others, despite my continuously growing knowledge, experience and skills.
All boils down to my fears of being judged, if what others would think of what I do or say…
And today, 28 days to my 60th birthday I decided it’s time to face the music and just TAKE ACTION. I want to live my next 40 years with no regrets from living in fear.
Steve Harvey, the famous Family Feud host, in his Motivational Talk today titled Take Action, says: If you can start something today, start today, don’t wait till Monday, next week, next month.
So today I am going to start what I’ve been postponing, delaying, procrastinating, and that is Facing my fears of showing up in the world, being exposed to friends and strangers… to share what I believe will be useful and helpful for others who are facing or going through similar life challenges like mine.
